Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 June 2026

1.Identity of the seller

These general terms and conditions of sale (the "Terms") apply to every offer made and every contract concluded between you (the "Customer") and:

  • Trade name: Maison Rich (operating the brand "Maison Rich Paris")
  • Registered office: [ADDRESS TO BE ADDED], Belgium
  • Enterprise number (KBO/BCE): 0797.788.277
  • VAT: BE 0797.788.277
  • Email: info@maisonrichparis.com
  • Website: maisonrichparis.com

By placing an order, the Customer expressly accepts these Terms. Deviations are only valid if confirmed in writing by Maison Rich.

2.Offer and prices

All offers are non-binding and valid while stocks last. Prices are displayed in euros and include Belgian VAT and other applicable consumer taxes, but exclude shipping costs, which are shown separately during checkout. For deliveries outside the European Union, additional customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees may apply and remain at the Customer's expense.

Maison Rich uses every reasonable effort to ensure that descriptions, images and prices are accurate. Manifest errors (typing or pricing mistakes) do not bind Maison Rich.

3.Formation of the contract

A contract is formed when the Customer confirms the order and Maison Rich sends an order confirmation by email. Maison Rich reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in case of suspected fraud, unusual order patterns, stock issues or any legitimate reason, in which case any payment received will be refunded without delay.

4.Payment

Payment is made online during checkout via the payment methods offered on the site. Payments are processed by a regulated third-party payment service provider. The order is dispatched only after full payment has been received and validated.

5.Delivery

Orders are dispatched to the address provided by the Customer within the timeframes indicated on our Shipping & Returns page. Stated delivery times are indicative. A delay does not give the Customer the right to cancel the order or claim damages, except where the maximum legal period of 30 days (article VI.43 WER) has expired and the Customer has granted an additional reasonable period.

The risk of loss or damage transfers to the Customer at the moment the goods are physically received by the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer (other than the carrier).

6.Right of withdrawal (14 days)

In accordance with articles VI.47 et seq. of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, the Customer who qualifies as a consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract, without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the day on which the Customer (or a designated third party) takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise this right, the Customer must inform Maison Rich of the decision to withdraw by an unambiguous statement (for example an email to info@maisonrichparis.com) before the withdrawal period has expired. The Customer may, but is not obliged to, use the standard withdrawal form published by the Belgian FPS Economy.

The goods must be returned without undue delay and in any event within 14 calendar days from the day the withdrawal was communicated, in their original, unworn and unwashed condition, with all tags and packaging intact. The Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

Maison Rich will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including standard delivery costs (the cost of any premium delivery option above the standard option is excluded), within 14 days of being informed of the withdrawal. Maison Rich may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been received back or the Customer has supplied evidence of return, whichever is the earlier.

The Customer is liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

7.Legal warranty of conformity

Pursuant to articles 1649bis et seq. of the Belgian Civil Code, consumers benefit from a two-year legal warranty of conformity from the date of delivery. Any non-conformity must be reported to info@maisonrichparis.com within two months of discovery. Normal wear and tear, damage caused by improper use, accidents, or alterations are excluded.

8.Complaints and dispute resolution

We aim to resolve every complaint amicably. Please contact us first at info@maisonrichparis.com. If no agreement is reached, the Customer may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr or contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service at consumerombudsman.be.

9.Intellectual property

All content on the Maison Rich website — including logos, brand name, designs, text, photographs and graphics — is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the exclusive property of Maison Rich or its licensors. Any reproduction or use without prior written consent is prohibited.

10.Liability

Maison Rich's liability is limited to direct damages, up to the invoiced amount of the order concerned. Maison Rich cannot be held liable for indirect, consequential or immaterial damages. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law (including for personal injury or gross negligence).

11.Force majeure

Maison Rich is not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruption, cyber-attacks, supplier failures, pandemics or government measures.

12.Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13.Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Antwerp, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules that grant the Customer the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.

14.Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
